Nose Problems

The asian woman hurts her nose because she has cold.
  • Nasal congestion/blockage

Can be caused by a deviated septum, swelling of the nasal tissues, polyps, foreign objects etc.

  • Nasal discharge

Can be a symptom of common cold, allergy, sinusitis or even leakage of brain fluid (CSF) through nose.

  • Sinus infections

Can be caused by the common cold, viruses, bacteria, fungi, or allergies. Symptoms include facial pain, a stuffy or runny nose, and sometimes a fever.

  • Nasal polyps

Can cause inflammation and obstruction that can affect the olfactory nerves, which are responsible for detecting smells. This can lead to a reduction or loss of smell or taste. These polyps tend to obstruct the nose partially/completely leading to breathing difficulties and often associated with bronchial asthma

  • Hay fever
Also known as allergic rhinitis, this is caused by an allergic reaction to environmental allergens like pollen, dust mites, or pet dander. Symptoms include a runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes, and throat irritation.
